After the healthiest people he had ever known (Donnalyn Giegerich and her husband Tom) both got hit by cancer, and seeing the same thing happen over and over again, Ted decided it was time to take action. He ran his idea by Donnalyn …and the rest is history.

Former professional skier morphed into Senior Executive Technology Leader for Fortune 50 companies and then morphed again into The New Jersey Marathon Executive Race Director and a certified professional endurance running coach.
My family has also felt the impact of cancer as my son’s mother died of cancer in late 2002, after a 1.5 year battle (her father and grandmother were also cancer victims).
One of my most memorable jobs with The New Jersey Marathon was as the head of the Charity Affiliate Program. Working with each of the charities to maximize their fundraising during the various NJ Marathon events has been a very rewarding experience!
Art’s involvement comes after and because a member of his family has survived two bouts with cancer!
is the Branch Manager of the Long Branch office of Central Jersey Bank and has been employed by them for 9 years. She has been in banking for almost 30years, always on the branch level.
She has served on the board of the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce since 2005 and co-chairs the Business After Hours committee.
She got involved with KCO because she thought it was a wonderful concept. Her mother was diagnosed and successfully treated for breast cancer in 2009. Her aunt died in 2006 from lung cancer. She knows many others who are battling or have battled cancer. The effects cancer has on the patient and families are grueling. Raising awareness and doing something positive helps everyone cope with this disease and hopefully one day there will be a cure.
Has been an attorney for 24 years, the last 13 of which have been managing his own practice. He is a civil trial attorney, and has tried cases involving millions of dollars in damages. He is also a criminal trial attorney, and has spent several years as a judge in the Middletown Township Municipal Court.
He is involved with KCO out of respect for, and in memory of, his father, grandparents and aunts/uncles who have died from cancer over the past thirty years. They will certainly appreciate the efforts made to help others avoid or deal with this disease.
is an entrepreneur whose credits include owning the Keyport IHOP with his wife Mitzy, the President of I’m Impressed, Inc – a resource for personal development, coaching and branding, the creator of “The Brand of ME”, he is also a Certified Compass Life & Business Coach, and Co-Owner of Community Publications which publishes and mails community newspapers and magazines to over 50,000 homes in Monmouth County. He is also the co-owner of MarketME a print shop in Hazlet that prints banners, signs, posters, T-Shirts and mugs for all you business advertising and marketing needs. Cliff is also a Motivational Speaker and has several awards from local Chambers of Commerce and organizations for his donations and contributions. He is the 1st VP of the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and is active in 6 other local business organizations and serves on the IHOP Restaurant Marketing Steering Committee and IHOP’s Board of Advisors Operations sub-committee.
He is involved in KCO because of the life changing experiences he has encountered with family members who have been lost to cancer.
